Embrace Home Housing offers spaces on a first-come, first-served basis; applicants are placed on a waitlist if no space is immediately available.
All costs are included in one monthly program rate, providing participants with savings of approximately 37% to 67% per month compared to the true cost of traditional housing in Hampton Roads.
The program reduces common barriers such as income requirements, credit checks, and criminal background restrictions.
Participants receive supportive services, stable housing, and furnished living spaces.
Program rates are determined during intake based on each participant’s needs for long-term stability.
Applicants must provide a valid ID and proof of income or support.

Basic Program Guidelines

Participants are expected to be positive and respectful community members to both internal participants and external neighbors.

Participants are responsible for keeping their personal areas orderly and ensuring that shared spaces are clean, respectful, and well maintained.

Participants are expected to take responsibility for their actions and choices, recognizing that individual accountability contributes to the wellbeing of the entire program.

Programs are 100% substance-free. Drugs, alcohol, and smoking are not allowed on around or near any program locations.
